Refund policy
How cancelling and refunds work for Swiftbird Plus and Pro. Paid plans are not on sale yet; this draft describes how they will work when they are.
Draft of 28 September 2026
The short version
- Cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next monthly renewal.
- Your first payment for a plan can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of paying.
- Renewals aren't refunded, except where the law requires it or something went wrong on our side.
- Your AI provider, and any other service you connect yourself, bill you separately. We can't refund their charges.
Plans covered
This policy covers Plus ($5 a month) and Pro ($10 a month), sold as monthly memberships through Payhip and paid by card through Stripe. Free costs nothing and needs no refund.
Cancelling
Cancel from your Payhip customer account. In the app, Settings → Subscription → Manage in Payhip takes you there. After you cancel:
- you won't be charged again;
- Plus or Pro features stay on until the end of the month you've paid for;
- then your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted, and existing work can still be opened and exported.
Deleting your Swiftbird account does not cancel a Payhip membership, so cancel first.
Refunds
First payment. If Swiftbird isn't right for you, email hello@getswiftbird.com within 14 days of your first payment for a plan and we'll refund that payment in full. You don't need to give a reason.
Renewals. Monthly renewals aren't refunded once they've been charged, because you can cancel before a renewal at any time. We will refund a renewal if you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or couldn't use your paid features because of a fault on our side that we couldn't fix.
Your legal rights. If you're a consumer, the law of your country may give you further rights, such as a right to withdraw from a digital-services contract within a set period. This policy doesn't reduce them.
What a refund does. A refunded payment ends the paid period it covered, and your account returns to Free. Your files are unaffected.
How to ask
Email hello@getswiftbird.com from the address you paid with. Include the plan and roughly when you paid. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Payhip and Stripe; banks usually take 5 to 10 working days to show them.
If the app shows the wrong plan after a payment or refund, use Settings → Subscription → Refresh membership first. See Billing for more.
What we can't refund
- Your Claude or OpenAI subscription, or their usage charges.
- Voice, 3D-generation, stock or other services you connected with your own keys.
- Anything bought outside Swiftbird's Payhip store.
For those, contact the provider directly.
