Claude Code or Codex is required and billed by Anthropic or OpenAI under your own account. Provider usage is never included in a Swiftbird plan.

What does the Swiftbird price actually pay for?
The desktop app: the Chat that drives your installed agent, the Production, Scene editor, Thumbnails, Calendar and Publishing pages, and the libraries and automation on the higher plans. It doesn't include any AI usage, rendering, stock assets or hosting of your files. Your files stay on your computer.
Do I need a Claude or OpenAI subscription?
Yes. Swiftbird works through the Claude Code or Codex command-line tool that you install and sign in to yourself. Whatever plan you have with Anthropic or OpenAI decides which models you can use and how much. Swiftbird never sees your provider credentials. See Connect Claude Code or Codex.
What's the difference between Free, Plus and Pro?
Free gives you one active project with basic editing and agent chat, and you can always open and export existing work. Plus adds multiple active projects and reusable styles, asset and reference libraries. Pro adds batch workflows and automation on top of Plus.
What happens to my films if I cancel?
Nothing is deleted. Paid features stay on until the end of the month you've paid for, then your account moves to Free. Existing work can still be opened and exported, and your Blender, Remotion and Premiere files never depended on Swiftbird in the first place.
How do I pay, and who handles my card?
Plus and Pro will be monthly memberships sold through Payhip, which processes card payments with Stripe. Swiftbird never sees your card details. After paying, open Settings → Subscription → Refresh membership in the app. More in Membership and billing.
Can I get a refund?
The refund policy offers a full refund of your first payment for a plan if you ask within 14 days, and you can cancel before any renewal. Read the refund policy (draft).
Is there a Mac version?
No. Swiftbird is built for Windows, and there are no plans to announce for other systems yet.
