Membership and billing
The three plans, how paid plans will be bought through Payhip, how to refresh your plan in the app, and how cancelling works.
The plans

Every plan needs a Swiftbird sign-in. Your Claude or OpenAI subscription is separate and is billed by the provider. So are any paid services you connect with your own keys.
Buying a plan
Plus and Pro are monthly memberships sold through Payhip, which processes card payments with Stripe. Swiftbird never sees your card details.
Use the same email as your Swiftbird account when you check out. Your plan is matched to you by that email.
Refresh membership
After paying, open Settings → Subscription → Refresh membership in the app. Swiftbird checks your plan with its membership service and shows the plan and the date it's paid through. You can also see this on your account page.
The app keeps a signed copy of your plan for up to 24 hours, so a short loss of connection doesn't drop you to Free. Your Swiftbird sign-in itself still needs a connection to be checked; if it can't be, the app locks until you reconnect, and your files are untouched. A cancellation shows up when you refresh or when that copy expires.
Cancelling
Cancel from your Payhip account; Settings → Subscription → Manage in Payhip takes you there. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your paid features stay on until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.

If your plan looks wrong
- Press Refresh membership.
- Check that you paid with the same email you sign in with.
- If it's still wrong, contact support with the purchase email and date. Don't buy the plan again.
